We are looking for a Corporate Communication Specialist to join our Marketing Team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing corporate communications initiatives, managing media relations and maintaining MSA’s social media presence. • Prepare and implement editorial calendar promoting projects, community involvement and speaking engagements
• Develop articles and blogs posts for external website
• Provide communication support to other departments to assist with internal communications
• Write news releases and facilitate regional distribution
• Manage company’s presence on all relevant social media sites
• Serve a primary point of contact for all advertisement placements
• Develop and maintain relationships with key media outlets and contacts

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications or related degree required
• 3 years of prior experience creating and editing technical content for internal and external audiences required
• The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of prior experience, including creating website content and managing corporate social media platforms
• Prior experience in the AEC industry preferred
• Prior experience with Adobe Create Suite including InDesign preferred
• Prior experience with search engine optimization (SEO) is a plus
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Detail oriented, ability to multitask
